Raytheon, a business unit of RTX, is seeking a dynamic Senior Manager to lead Finance Career Development, Communications, and CORE initiatives. This role is central to developing finance talent, strengthening internal communications, and driving adoption of CORE across the Finance organization. The successful candidate will influence and collaborate across all levels of Finance, regularly present updates and strategies to L5 Finance Leaders and the Finance Leadership Team, and lead complex change and communication programs. Strong leadership, deep finance acumen, and a proven track record in employee development and communication strategy are essential.

Ability to travel to support key development programs and Finance leadership engagements is required

What You Will Do 

Talent Development Programs

  • Lead the Raytheon Finance Intern Program (40–45 interns), overseeing recruiting, offers, onboarding, curriculum delivery (including CORE certification), and offboarding in partnership with HR, Talent Acquisition, and functional leaders.
  • Lead the annual three-day Finance Academy of Management for first-time managers in AZ, MA, and TX, delivering 30 hours of leadership development taught by senior Finance leaders.
  • Serve as the Raytheon Finance Leadership Development Program (FLDP) Champion for ~18 rotators, managing rotations, off-program placement, and career development activities.

Communications & Change Management

  • Develop and execute internal communication strategies ensuring clarity, consistency, and engagement across Finance.
  • Manage change management and business harmonization communications.
  • Lead CFO Town Halls, Finance Leadership Team engagements, and organization-wide Finance communications.
  • Support Extended Leader Alignment Meetings and partner with Business Process teams to drive alignment.
  • Maintain the Finance Hub SharePoint site and manage the weekly Finance Newsletter.

Career Development & Employee Experience

  • Partner with Finance L5s, HR, and RTX Talent Development to design and deploy career development initiatives and resources.
  • Lead onboarding and pipeline activities supporting new employee experience.
  • Deliver quarterly engagement programs including Career Development Panels, webinars, and the Career Guide series.

CORE & Command Media

  • Lead Finance Command Media harmonization and implement sustainment plans for new processes and tools.
  • Serve as the CORE (Customer Oriented Results and Excellence) focal lead, driving adoption and integration across Finance.
  • Identify improvement opportunities, facilitate problem-solving, and influence business readiness through CORE methodologies.
  • Participate in strategic and CORE initiative teams to support organizational goals.

Culture & Executive Support

  • Foster a culture of continuous learning, development, and collaboration across Finance in partnership with the People’s Council network.
  • Support ad‑hoc executive briefing requests as needed.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Communications or a related field & a minimum of 10 years of experience in finance, career development, or internal communications; OR an Advanced degree and a minimum of 7 years of experience in finance, career development, or internal communications.
  • Professional experience in a related finance role

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
