What You'll Do

Responsibilities include:

Providing top-notch care to up to four children in the classroom, while ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.

Engaging children in stimulating activities and play that fosters their cognitive, social, and emotional development.

Collaborating with parents to understand their child's needs and preferences, and communicating daily with them about their child's progress.

Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe environment that encourages children to grow and thrive.

Building strong relationships with each family, founded on trust, respect, and exceptional customer service.

Supervising teacher aides in the classroom, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet program policy and customer service expectations.

Developing and implementing daily activities that are tailored to the needs and interests of the children in our care.

Conducting assessments and facilitating parent-teacher conferences to ensure the best possible outcomes for our children.

Participating in occasional parent events, and other activities that may take place on nights and weekends.

Preparing regular parent newsletters and lesson plans that meet our high standards.

Managing daily records, including eating, sleeping, and diaper changing schedules, to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Projecting a professional image and upholding the values of our organization at all times.


Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Valid Driver's License
  • First Aid/CPR Training
  • 3-5 years childcare experience
  • Child Development Associate (CDA)
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
