School Counselor
St. Mary's of Sherman| Part-Time | Sherman, Texas
$300 bonus: It will be paid in two installments: $150 after 30 days of employment and $150 after 60 days of employment.

Play a critical role in supporting the behavioral, personal, emotional, and social development of students. Responsibilities
How you'll do it:
  • Positively impact students' educational, behavioral, social, and emotional well-being.
  • Nurture student potential through personalized, small-group, and classroom counseling, focusing on academic, emotional, behavioral, or developmental needs.
  • Conduct learning assessments to reveal students' strengths and areas for growth, informing referrals as needed.
  • Empower parents and school staff by connecting them with community resources that align with students' unique needs.
  • Ensure administrative excellence by completing accurate, efficient paperwork.
  • Stay updated on field trends to enhance guidance and support for students.
  • Foster trust and reliability by adhering to the Counseling Policy Manual, funding guidelines, and school procedures.

Qualifications
What we'll need from you:
  • Master's degree in counseling or related field.
  • Experience working with K-8 grade.
  • One of the following: LMSW, LCSW, LPC-A, LPC, School Counselor Certification
  • Be available for26 biweekly hours.
