Daikin Applied is seeking a Learning Program Operations Manager - (Technical Training) who is responsible for end-to-end execution, adoption, and operational performance of Daikin Applied's technician curriculum programs across Service and Controls. This role sits at the intersection of program management and learning operations, ensuring that curriculum-based programs are successfully deployed, adopted, and sustained at scale. The position owns ongoing program execution, reporting, communications, deployment strategy, and field engagement, while building the operational infrastructure required to support multi-level technician development pathways. Under limited supervision, this role partners closely with Learning Leadership, SMEs, Field Service leaders, instructors, and LMS/Training Operations teams to deliver measurable business outcomes through structured technician training programs. What you will do:

Learning Program Execution & Ownership (40%)

  • Own end-to-end execution of ongoing technician training programs (e.g., COSV) across Service and Controls
  • Manage program plans, milestones, dependencies, and execution cadence across multiple simultaneous learning pathways
  • Drive continuous deployment and engagement, ensuring sustained participation and progression across all technician levels
  • Monitor learner progress and intervene when gaps exist (e.g., stalled technicians, low completion, field resistance)
  • Ensure alignment between curriculum design, field expectations, and program delivery outcomes
  • Partner with instructional design and SMEs to ensure programs drive performance-based outcomes

Change Management & Program Adoption (20%)

  • Lead change management strategy and execution to support adoption of curriculum-based technician training
  • Drive field buy-in across all levels (technicians, managers, mentors, leadership)
  • Develop and execute plans to transition learning processes (e.g., onboarding systems, LMS adoption, milestone strategies)
  • Address adoption barriers by engaging stakeholders and incorporating feedback loops
  • Establish and reinforce behavioral expectations, accountability models, and program governance

Communications & Stakeholder Engagement (15%)

  • Own the learning communications strategy and execution plan for technician training programs
  • Develop and deliver:
    • Program launch communications
    • Ongoing learner and manager updates
    • Stakeholder communications and executive reporting
  • Facilitate ongoing engagement touchpoints (webinars, check-ins, advisory groups)
  • Manage relationships with field leaders, SMEs, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency
  • Create communication frameworks that support scalable program deployment and sustainment

Reporting, Analytics & Insights (10%)

  • Design and execute program reporting strategy, including:
    • Progress and completion tracking

    • Technician progression and attestation
    • Program accountability across the field
  • Create program artifacts such as:
    • Playbooks
    • Standard operating procedures (SOPs)
    • Job aids and documentation
  • Ensure consistent execution of training across regions, programs, and delivery modes

Operational Coordination & Execution (5%)

  • Partner with Learning Operations to support:
    • Scheduling and training calendars
    • Resource allocation (instructors, facilities, labs)
    • Enrollment and learner logistics
  • Ensure alignment between program needs and operational capabilities.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Learning & Development, Business, Operations, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum Experience
  • 4-6 years of experience in:
    • Learning Program Management
    • Learning Operations or Training Delivery
    • Technical training environments or field-based workforce development
  • Experience managing complex, multi-layered learning programs at scale
  • Strong ability to manage ongoing (non-time-bound) programs with multiple stakeholders and dependencies
  • Demonstrated expertise in change management and communications strategy
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills, especially across field organizations
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into action
  • Proven ability to design and operationalize scalable processes and governance models
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage competing priorities and program complexity
  • Working knowledge of LMS/LXP systems, reporting tools, and learning technologies

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in HVAC, technical service, or field technician training
  • Experience implementing curriculum-based learning pathways
  • Background in change management, adoption strategy, or transformation initiatives
  • Experience working with LMS platforms, learning analytics, and reporting tools
  • Familiarity with mentorship, OJT, and competency-based training models

Preferred Certification:

  • Prosci Change Management Certification
  • PMP or CAPM
  • ATD (CPTD/APTD)
  • Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt)

Work Environment

This role operates in a hybrid environment, including office, training center, and field service locations. Regular interaction with training facilities, instructors, and field teams is required.

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from$80,400- $136,00K + and up to a potential 10% bonus in MN. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
