The Zone Sales Training role is a strategic training position responsible for both delivering classroom training while developing sales capability across the Zone by deeply integrating with the commercial sales organization. This role goes beyond traditional training delivery to become an embedded partner within the sales team, gaining firsthand understanding of customer needs, selling environments, and market dynamics. Through this immersion, the trainer translates product knowledge into practical, customerfacing expertise that directly supports commercial execution and growth.

In addition to leading new hire onboarding, this role ensures continued success after initial training by reinforcing skills, advancing product and clinical knowledge, and supporting the ongoing development of sales professionals at all stages. The Zone Sales Trainer collaborates closely with Zone and Regional leadership to identify capability gaps, design targeted development initiatives, and provide individualized coaching to drive performance. As a member of the Zone leadership team, this position plays a critical role in aligning training strategies with business priorities and enabling longterm sales effectiveness.

This role is a critical investment in sales effectiveness, revenue growth and customer engagement serving as the primary link between learning strategy and field execution, ensuring sales reps are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and coaching necessary to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • 50% Zone Training and 50% Classroom training.
  • Implement and drive the overall NAM Learning & Development training strategy withing the Zone to maximize performance and sales results
  • Designated role-specific training responsibility (AE, ACISE, Coag, etc)
  • Deliver and/or Assist in the delivery of formal training programs, which could include but are not limited to the following: new hire training, skills training, product launches or advanced training programs.
  • Evaluate sales capability needs within the Zone and work with Sales Training Specialist and Instructional Designer to design targeted development initiatives that strengthen core competencies that directly support commercial execution and revenue growth.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact to lead and coordinate the onboarding and training pathway for new sales hires, partnering with leadership to accelerate competency development and early performance,
  • Work with Sales Training Specialist to create and update training content and materials to meet the Organizational strategies and changing LD market landscape
  • Offer constructive, real-time feedback to learners and deliver written feedback in the form of Individual Performance Summaries (IPS) following training programs
  • Continually evaluate all sales training activities to identify areas for improvement and drive overall effectiveness
  • Consistently increase knowledge and awareness of changes in the healthcare industry including healthcare reform and industry trends while keeping pace with training and development innovation
  • Take on other training roles and responsibilities that may be necessary to support the success of Siemens Healthineers
  • Conduct regular field travel with new hires and identified sales representatives through working with the Leadership team, Sales Excellence Trainer and/or Product Trainers
  • Deliver and/or Assist in the delivery of additional formal training programs or take on other training roles and responsibilities that may be necessary to support the success of Siemens Healthineers

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or relative expertise in business, healthcare, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial sales
  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare diagnostics, with a deep understanding of the market landscape and customer needs
  • Expertise in sales skills or field training preferred

The base pay range for this position is:

$128,490 - $176,671

Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
