Houston Public Schools is seeking an Advisor Teacher at Summit Learning Center.  Summit Learning Center is an Alternative Learning Program that is designed to meet individual student learning needs.  Summit Learning Center is located in Houston, MN.

The preferred candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • Current or eligible for licensure as teacher in Minnesota
  • HS licensure preferred
  • Experience with co-teaching or teaching multiple subject areas
  • Student-centered mindset with a focus on collaborative relationships with students, parents, colleagues, and community agencies.
  • Strong classroom management skills
