Job description

As Hasbro continues to strengthen leadership capability and organizational effectiveness, we are building a scrappy, high-impact Learning & Development function. We are seeking a Learning & Development Instructional Designer to support the creation and execution of high-quality learning experiences for managers and leaders.
 
This role will work within the L&D team to develop engaging virtual and in-person learning sessions, tools, and resources that drive practical skill-building and behavior change. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, creative, organized, and excited to grow in the field of instructional design and leadership development. This is a hands-on role passionate about building, refining, and scaling learning content and materials.
 
This is a hybrid role and will be onsite Tuesday - Thursday at either our Boston, MA or Seattle WA office.
 
What You Will Do As A Learning & Development Program Manager:
  • Support the design and development of virtual and in-person learning sessions for managers and leaders.
  • Build slide decks, participant materials, facilitator guides, and job aids based on provided frameworks and direction.
  • Develop and maintain on-demand learning content, including micro-learning modules, recorded sessions, toolkits, and self-paced resources within the LMS or digital learning platforms.
  • Translate complex concepts into clear, engaging, and easy-to-use learning tools.
  • Assist in developing just-in-time toolkits focused on feedback, decision-making, team effectiveness, and leadership fundamentals.
  • Manage learning logistics, materials, and coordination for live sessions.
  • Maintain learning resources within digital platforms and repositories.
  • Incorporate feedback from participants and stakeholders to refine materials.
  • Ensure consistency, quality, and brand alignment across learning assets.
What You Will Bring:
  • 2-4 years of experience in learning & development, instructional design, HR, education, or related field.
  • Experience developing or supporting on-demand or digital learning content (e.g., micro-learning modules, recorded sessions, interactive resources).
  • Familiarity with eLearning systems and tools such as Articulate Rise, Storyline, or similar platforms.
  • Strong writing, editing, and content development skills.
  • Experience building presentations and learning materials (PowerPoint, Word, etc).
  • High attention to detail and strong project management skills.
  • Ability to take direction and translate it into structured, polished deliverables.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Preferred:
  • Experience with eLearning tools (Articulate, Rise, etc.).
  • Familiarity with LMS platforms.
  • Interest in leadership development or organizational effectiveness.
  • Experience supporting live virtual or in-person training sessions.
