Dealer Development Manager & Recruiter (Remote)
ABOUT THE ROLE
As part of the SANY America team, SANY America is seeking an experienced Development Manager & Recruiter is responsible for identifying, recruiting, and onboarding new dealers to strengthen and expand SANY America's dealer network across the U.S. This role is critical in addressing "white space," improving dealer capabilities, and ensuring the continued growth and coverage of SANY's construction equipment & port business. The ideal candidate will possess strong relationship-building skills, market knowledge, and an ability to evaluate and onboard high-potential dealer partners.
With current revenues over $500 million, SANY America continues to make strong progress and significant investments in the Americas market; the organization is now pursuing an aggressive growth strategy and is looking to move quickly beyond this initial platform and increase their market share.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Dealer Network Expansion
  • Proactively identify geographic "white space" and market opportunities where SANY is underrepresented.
  • Develop and maintain a dealer recruitment strategy aligned with SANY America's strategic goals.
  • Research, evaluate, and vet potential dealer candidates based on financial strength, business capability, and industry experience.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process including initial outreach, needs analysis, presentations, site visits, and proposal negotiation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (sales, marketing, aftermarket, legal) to onboard and support new dealer partners.

Dealer Development & Support
  • Support the growth and performance of newly recruited dealers during the ramp-up phase.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for new and existing dealers and recommend improvements.
  • Assist in dealer performance reviews and develop action plans where needed.
  • Serve as a liaison between dealers and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure alignment.

Recruiting Strategy & Reporting
  • Maintain a pipeline of qualified dealer candidates and provide regular updates to leadership.
  • Document and track all dealer development activities using CRM tools and reporting platforms.
  • Analyze dealer coverage and market trends to inform future recruitment priorities.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5+ years of experience in dealer development, OEM sales, or dealer recruitment, preferably in construction equipment, port or related industries.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong knowledge of dealer operations, business development practices, and territory management.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Self-starter with strong organizational and project management skills.

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Remote

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
  • Ability to travel 50% or more as needed across the U.S.
