Job description

The individual will work in support of assigned faculty to manage programmatic activity led by the faculty member(s). The individual will also support faculty recruitment activities, including processing travel expenses, arranging travel accommodations, communication with faculty candidates. Must have the ability to exercises discretion and independent judgment in significant matters as well as demonstrate advanced problem solving abilities. Bachelor's degree is required with 3 years of relevant job experience. Project Management Certification preferred.
Job Duties:
  • Manages programs associated with assigned faculty, which include the development, administration, planning, and coordination of all programmatic activities. Manages or assists in managing the budget of a program.
  • Coordinates activities of various departments or personnel within Hillman Cancer Center.
  • Assists with research responsibilities of faculty and exploring new opportunities and grants as requested.
  • Provides services directly to customers.
