Job description

Eaton's Electrical Sector is currently seeking a Program Manager II. This is a hybrid position (3 days on-site, 2 days remote per week) based at our Moon Township, PA location. Relocation assistance will be provided to candidates currently residing within the US/PR.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $113000 - $165000 a year.

What you'll do:
We are seeking a Program Manager to lead new technology introduction for Eaton's DC Circuit Protection product line, within Protection, Controls & Solutions (PCS).This role owns program delivery, portfolio management, and development of standard work within the technology value stream, while working in close coordination with the Global Advanced Technology, Data Center Product, and Division teams to ensure concepts progress on time, at target cost, and align to the overall strategy, priorities, and business plan.
Key Responsibilities:
Program & Portfolio Management
  • Execute assigned technology programs utilizing Eaton's PreLaunch governance model, ensuring a balance of ideation, innovation and accountability to deliver new technologies and technology platforms in line with customer and market needs.
  • Own the PCS advanced technology portfolio, including project intake, prioritization, execution, and governance, in partnership with the Global Advanced Technology team and the appropriate divisions to ensure alignment to product strategy and business priorities.
  • Facilitate structured reviews and decision forums with stakeholders to ensure concepts meet strategic, consumer, technical, timing, and cost criteria.
  • Balance desirability, feasibility, timing, and business impact across the portfolio.

Cross-Functional & Global Integration
  • Serve as a key integrator across the Advanced Technology, Data Center Product, and Division teams to actively coordinate dependencies, sequence work, and resolve friction to keep teams aligned and moving together.
  • Partner with global (EMEA / APAC) development and industrialization teams to align early-stage innovation with downstream execution.
  • Ensure clean handoffs to receiving division teams for development, industrialization, and ramp-up.

Process Excellence & PMO Integration
  • Develop, document, and continuously improve standard work, tools, and governance for technology development execution
  • Partner closely with the PMO to ensure alignment with group NPD processes and systems
  • Support PMO led initiatives that improve speed, decision quality, and delivery predictability across the innovation pipeline

Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in project management; responsible for schedule, budgets, and product quality
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in product development, manufacturing, or engineering

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical or industrial engineering from an accredited institution
  • MBA from an accredited institution
  • PMP or equivalent certification (or within 6 months of start)
  • Experienced in New Product Development (NPD) and stage gate

Skills:
  • Understanding of basic engineering principles with respect to electromechanical devices or systems
  • Proven Leadership skills - capability to lead change in an Integrated Team (IPT) environment across multiple sites and customers globally
  • Fully demonstrating to proficient in Program and Project Management methodologies, processes and tools
  • Strong analytical skills and business acumen
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong presentation aptitude and public speaking experience
  • Detailed planning ability and strong organizational skills
  • Strong leadership, motivational, and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated problem-solving ability and an innovative mind set
  • Practical experience and understanding of the electrical industry such as construction and industrial markets
  • Ability to travel up to 10%
