Job description

The Program Manager is responsible for the day-to-day oversight and operations of assigned residential programs (4 in total) for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This includes supervising staff, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, maintaining quality service delivery, and fostering a positive, person-centered environment. The Program Manager works collaboratively with the Residential Services Director and other leadership staff to uphold the mission and values of BrightPath Human Services. This position requires on-call duties which can require responding to assigned programs during emergencies and call-offs. Typical work schedule is M-F 8am-4pm but requires on call responsbilities.


Key Responsibilities: 

  • Overseeing daily operations of assigned residential programs, ensuring consistent and high quality supports.
  • Supervise and Support the Team Leaders and DSP's, including scheduling, coaching and performance evaluations. 
  • Ensure compliance with ISPs, BSPs, RPPs, and health care directives.
  • Ensure compliance with the 6400/6100 regulations. 
  • Participate in Team Meetings, Staff development and interdisciplinary planning. 
  • Conduct routine site visits and quality reviews. 
  • Responding to emergencies and provide on-call support as needed. 
  • Serve as a point person with families, case managers (support coordinators), and other stakeholders. 
  • Monitor and manage the program budgets
  • Ensure staff receive required training and maintain current certifications. 
  • Promotes and leads with BrightPath Human Services Core Values. Providing a supportive, inclusive environment for all. 
  • Any other assigned duties. 


Qualifications: 

  • Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in IDD services or a Residential Support Setting. 
  • Strong Organizational, leadership, and interpersonal communication skills. 
  • Proficiency in documentation and electronic health record systems. 
  • Valid Drivers License and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to obtain NADSP FLS certification within 3 months of employment (Company Paid).

Ability to work flexible hours in the event of an emergency and partake in on-call responsibilities.
