Summary:

The Program Manager, Talent & Organizational Effectiveness (OE) is a key member of the Talent & OE team within Human Resources. In this role, you will report to the Director, Learning & Development and proactively collaborate with peer Program Managers and other HR centers of excellence.

The position designs, manages and executes on strategies, programs and platforms that encompass one or more of the following talent practices: learning & development, coaching & mentoring, appreciation & recognition, the performance management lifecycle and talent planning (organizational gap assessment, attribute/competency model, succession & critical roles identification/planning). In addition, this role acts as an organizational effectiveness consultant responsible for the assessment and design of team effectiveness interventions. This position actively contributes to employee engagement initiatives, operational goals and organizational culture through the design, delivery and evaluation of programs, tools and assessments.

Position Responsibilities:

Design, develop, facilitate and lead the implementation of identified organizational talent & organizational effectiveness strategies. Assess and project specific needs through surveys, interviews with employees, focus groups, and/or consultation with managers, vendors, or colleagues. Recommend, utilize and implement talent solutions organization-wide.

Manage the identified systems and structures related to talent management and organizational development that may include one or more of the following: change management, skill development, performance management, engagement, appreciation & recognition, succession planning, career planning, talent review, goal setting and others.

Provide change management and organizational effectiveness consulting support to the HR Business Partners. Stay abreast of engagement trends and practices ensuring that Virtua remains a leading employer of choice.

Develop and implement metrics and tracking mechanisms to build accountability, measure results and optimize the impact of the Talent & OE function.

Coach, mentor and develop colleagues to promote core values and competencies, career path advancement and succession planning.


Required Experience:

5+ years related experience with an emphasis on program management.

Proven experience in the application of instructional design, experience with Articulate tools preferred

Must be able to manage multiple projects with aggressive timelines

Exceptional project management skills

Experience and proven results with training evaluation methods

Experience with 360-degree feedback, DiSC and other assessment tools

Experience with learning management systems

Experience vetting and managing external vendors

Experience designing and managing performance management processes

Excellent and varied platform skills (virtual and in person) and the ability to educate diverse audiences

Exceptional presentation and facilitation skills with ability to create buy-in and build credibility with leadership

Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven track record of effectiveness as a team player and project leader who gets results through people and processes.

Ability to quickly adapt to changing conditions.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Required Education:

Bachelor's Degree in relevant discipline; Master's Degree in one of the following areas strongly preferred: Human Resources, Organizational Development, Organizational Leadership or related field.
