Position Summary

The Manager, Sales Enablement & Commercial Training is responsible for building and executing the commercial capability strategy that enables Cosette’s field organizations to effectively execute brand strategy, engage customers, and achieve business objectives. This role serves as a strategic partner to Sales Leadership, Marketing, Medical Affairs, Market Access, and Commercial Operations by translating business priorities, clinical information, customer insights, and brand strategies into scalable training programs, field resources, and capability-building initiatives.

The role will initially support the development and expansion of Cosette’s oncology commercial organization, including onboarding, launch readiness, product training, selling skills development, and field effectiveness initiatives. As Cosette continues to expand its commercial footprint, this role will support additional field organizations and therapeutic areas across the portfolio.

The Manager owns the development and execution of sales onboarding, training curricula, certification programs, coaching tools, new hire experience and ongoing learning programs that ensure customer-facing teams have the knowledge, skills, and capabilities required to successfully execute in a complex pharmaceutical environment. This role does not own sales performance or revenue targets but is accountable for ensuring commercial teams are prepared, enabled, and continuously improving.

Travel: Approximately 30–50%, including field rides, national meetings, POAs, launch meetings, and training events

Key Responsibilities Commercial Training Strategy & Capability Development
  • Develop and execute a scalable sales enablement and commercial training strategy aligned with Cosette’s growth objectives and commercial priorities.
  • Establish training frameworks, learning paths, and capability models that support current and future field organizations.
  • Build and maintain onboarding, workshop content, certification, and continuous learning programs for Key Account Managers, sales leaders, and other customer-facing commercial roles.
  • Identify capability gaps through partnership with Sales Leadership, field observations, performance data, and business insights.
  • Develop targeted learning solutions that improve field readiness, customer engagement, and execution effectiveness.
  • Establish consistent standards for commercial learning, training delivery, and field capability development across Cosette’s sales organizations.
  • Be champion for cultural integration and Cosette culture standards.
Field Force Readiness & Launch Support
  • Own sales readiness programs supporting new product launches, relaunches, new indications, and expansion into new therapeutic areas.
  • Partner with Sales Leadership, Marketing, and Medical Affairs to develop launch training strategies, timelines, materials, and certification requirements.
  • Support oncology commercial build-out through development of product training, disease-state education, account management capabilities, and customer engagement skills.
  • Develop role-specific training programs for Key Account Managers, Regional Sales Directors, and National Sales Directors.
  • Ensure field teams are prepared to effectively engage healthcare professionals, institutions, IDNs, specialty pharmacies, and other healthcare stakeholders.
Sales Enablement & Field Effectiveness
  • Partner with Sales Leadership to strengthen field execution through coaching frameworks, competency models, and performance support tools.
  • Develop resources that support effective customer conversations, account planning, territory management, and value-based selling.
  • Support frontline sales leaders with coaching tools and resources that reinforce consistent execution.
  • Conduct field observations and ride-alongs to assess capability needs and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Translate field insights into actionable training initiatives and recommendations.
  • Partner with Sales Operations to evaluate training impact through performance metrics, adoption measures, and field feedback.
Training Content Development & Compliance
  • Develop and maintain training materials, facilitator guides, participant resources, certification assessments, and digital learning content.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and external agencies to create high-quality and multifaceted learning solutions.
  • Manage applicable MLR/PRC review processes for training materials.
  • Ensure all training programs and materials comply with FDA requirements, PhRMA Code, OIG guidance, and Cosette policies.
  • Maintain appropriate documentation of training completion, certifications, and compliance requirements.
Learning Operations & Program Management
  • Manage commercial training calendars, learning plans, program timelines, and training logistics.
  • Coordinate national sales meetings, POAs, regional meetings, and other commercial learning events.
  • Manage external training vendors, agencies, and learning partners.
  • Support learning technology platforms and digital training resources.
  • Continuously improve training processes, tools, and operating models as Cosette’s commercial organization grows.
Qualifications Education
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Advanced degree or relevant commercial, healthcare, or learning certification preferred.
Required Experience
  • 5+ years of pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, or related commercial experience.
  • 1+ years of experience in pharmaceutical sales training, sales enablement, commercial learning, field effectiveness, or related commercial capability function.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and executing training programs for customer-facing commercial teams.
  • Experience supporting specialty pharmaceutical, oncology, hospital, rare disease, or complex therapeutic areas preferred.
  • Experience partnering with sales leadership and cross-functional commercial teams.
  • Experience developing materials within a regulated pharmaceutical environment.
Knowledge & Skills
  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical commercial models, field sales organizations, and customer engagement strategies.

Salary Range

The expected annual base salary for this New Jersey based position is $114,400 - $143,000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee on the payment date.
