Job Description:

About the role:

Reporting to the Digital Publishing Manager, theDigital Publishing Coordinatoris an integral member of the Digital Publishing team. The coordinator worksclosely with a team ofPublishers andTechnicalConsultants to supportwebsiteinitiativesfor business partners throughout Sun Life.

What will you do?

  • Manage the team's daily workload and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure all deadlines are met.
  • Monitor and triage the Global Publishing Intake queue within set service level agreements.
  • Oversee intakes for quality assurance and maintaining the intake system.
  • Work with cross-functional stakeholders to complete small publishing requests across multiple Sun Life websites.
  • Routinely perform website accessibility and quality assurance audits.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for web intakes, including support and escalation.
  • Ensure accurate recording of data to enable and support reporting and measurement.
  • Monitor the team's inbox.
  • Coordinate and liaise with clients and internal team members as necessary.
  • Identify relevant training needs, provide recommendations, and update training documents.
  • Oversee intakes for quality assurance, maintain the intake application, and orchestrate administrative duties as necessary.

What do you need to succeed?

  • 1 to 2 years of experience in a Coordinator or Specialist role
  • Understanding of digital technology and digital channels
  • Experience with request intake tools and workflow management
  • Experience consulting with stakeholders and driving digital solutions to meet business requirements
  • Adaptive to change and mentally flexible
  • Exceptional attention to detail and quality
  • Excellent communication, time management, organization, and analytical skills

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with basic HTML coding,CSS, and JavaScript are an asset
  • Previous experience working in content management applications, in particular Adobe AEM is an asset but not required
  • Knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Standards (WCAG 2.1 AA) in web content publishing and site management.
  • Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset
  • Critical thinking, problem-solving, and situational analysis
  • Ability to work independently
  • Developed client management skills, especially discretion and diplomacy in dealing with stakeholders
  • Highly motivated to learn and work in digital technologies

The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other factors.
