The Learning Systems Supervisor supports enterprise learning, compliance, and enablement needs. This role defines the functional vision for the learning ecosystem, manages the LMS vendor landscape and contracts, and ensures the platform strategy aligns with learning strategy and organizational priorities. The Learning Systems Supervisor translates business and learning needs into scalable platform capabilities while maintaining operational stability and governance.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish governance for learning technology capabilities, integrations, and platform usage
  • Ensure scalable processes exist for vendor onboarding, tool evaluation, and platform enhancements, security, and governance specific to the learning management systems.
  • Maintain visibility into LMS vendor roadmaps and ensure the organization leverages platform capabilities effectively
  • Maintain a clear intake and prioritization process for learning technology requests
  • Provide strategic guidance on platform usage, design standards, and best practices
  • Serve as a solution architect & subject matter expert for the learning ecosystem - balancing user experience, technical feasibility, and compliance requirements.
  • Partners with Talent Tech, Data & Analytics, and vendors to design integrations, reporting, and workflow automation that connect learning to the broader Talent data model.
  • Drive readiness and adoption activities related to system upgrades, re-implementations, and new technology rollouts.
  • Ensure all systems and processes align with firm policies, data privacy standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Define and prioritize platform capabilities that support learning, compliance, and workforce enablement
  • Ensure alignment between learning strategy, platform capabilities, and enterprise technology standards
  • Drive continuous improvement of the learning ecosystem through feature enhancements and platform optimization
  • Partner with Learning Centers of Excellence (COEs) to support content strategy, learning design, and enablement
  • Translate learning, compliance, and operational needs into platform functionality and system requirements
  • Identify opportunities to streamline learning operations through platform capabilities and automation
  • Support integration of external learning content providers and learning technology tools
  • Act as the connector between Learning & Development, Learning Operations, and to ensure alignment of strategy and execution.
  • Lead communication and change management efforts for system transitions, ensuring clarity, transparency, and adoption across all business lines.
  • Develop materials and deliver briefings for Talent and business leadership on learning technology strategy, progress, and outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Deep understanding of enterprise learning management systems (LMS) such as Cornerstone OnDemand, Workday Learning, Saba, or Docebo
  • Familiarity with tools like Degreed, EdCast, or LinkedIn Learning Hub and how they integrate with LMS platforms
  • Knowledge of SCORM/xAPI standards, content authoring tools (e.g., Articulate, Captivate), and media hosting platforms
  • AI-Driven Solutions - Understanding of AI and machine learning applications in learning (recommendation engines, chatbots, adaptive learning)
  • Experience defining requirements, evaluating vendors, and managing end-to-end selection and implementation processes.
  • Understanding of data governance, user access control, audit readiness, and regulatory requirements
  • Familiarity with structured change control processes, testing protocols, and communication planning during releases or upgrades.
  • Demonstrated success partnering to lead LMS RFPs, implementations, or re-implementations (Cornerstone, Workday Learning, or similar).
  • Experience with automation tools, AI applications, or digital enablement initiatives in learning or HR preferred.


Preferred:

  • Master's degree or relevant certification preferred.
  • 6+ years of experience in Learning & Development, Learning Systems Management, or HR Technology; experience in professional services strongly preferred.
  • Understanding of how learning systems connect with HRIS (Workday, PeopleSoft, etc.), identity management, and data systems via APIs or middleware.

At RSM, an employee's pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences, performance, and skills for their current role. The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.

Compensation Range: $95,400 - $163,900

Individualsselected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
