Job Description

The Senior SharePoint Consultant will have a bachelors or a higher degree in computer science. Candidates with five (5) or more years of experience in MSFT technology stack will be preferred. Candidate must have at least 3 years of experience as a consultant in SharePoint. As a Consultant, you will utilize best practices and methodologies to plan and design, build, and implement Microsoft SharePoint solutions.

Responsibilities

This Consultant will participate in large, mid-size and small Microsoft SP consulting and development projects

Participate in requirements gathering sessions

Work with clients and partner with other team members to determine functional requirements and specifications

Design, develop, test, and deploy custom SP solutions

Engage the client as a trusted advisor and quickly gain credibility

Engage with Account Managers and clients during the presales phase to collect necessary information to draft Statements of Work

Investigate business needs and discuss new opportunities with the clients

Lead a team of consultants in house and also off-shore

Qualifications

Advanced understanding of algorithms

Excellent Problem Solving skills

Development experience - C# and/or VB.NET is mandatory

SQL Server experience - TSQL, SSRS, SSIS preferred

3 years of consulting experience with SharePoint

At least 1 year of consulting experience with SP 2013

Ability to translate business needs into technical implementation

Outstanding client relationship skills

Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, ability to articulate ideas clearly

Ability to work independently or as a strong team player

Education

B.S. IN Computer Science, Information Systems, or related major or equivalent experience

Travel

  Consulting work will be primarily performed at our client sites. Some amount of overnight travel (approximately 25%) is inherent in any consulting business and will be required of our Team Members.
