The Goddard School located at 1528 Providence Road S Waxhaw, North Carolina has been open since 2011 and has 150 children under our care. We are the premier preschool for children from six weeks to six years old and are committed to providing a safe, dynamic, and loving environment where children develop into joyful, confident learners! Our talented teachers collaborate with parents to ensure that their child is ready for school and life beyond. Qualifications 
  • Associate/Bachelor in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred; Child Development Associate (CDA) preferred 
  • At least 1 year of teaching experience in a classroom setting 
  • At least 1 year of experience working with children aged 1 to 2.5 years 
  • Develops relationships and communicates effectively with children, parents, and faculty members 
  • Works cooperatively alongside all co-teachers and school resource teachers 
  • Works productively without supervision within established organizational policies and procedures 
  • Is highly motivated and takes direction well  
  • Ability to complete weekly lesson plans and carry them out within the classroom 
  • Must be committed to following Goddard and state licensing guidelines to ensure the health, safety, and education of all children 
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children 
  • Qualifying letter from NC DCDEE (We will help you apply if you do not already have one!)
