Job Description

The Commercial discipline is responsible for driving business growth, managing partnerships, and providing industry subject matter expertise and advisory to both clients and internal teams. This strategic and consultative team creates meaningful relationships with clients through their combined knowledge of IT services industry trends and pain points. Members include business development staff of all levels, client partners, alliances and partnerships managers, industry advisors, and operational leads.

We’re looking for an early-career Business Development Associate who is curious, proactive, and motivated to contribute meaningfully from the start.

This role is well-suited for someone who has shown initiative and follow-through—through internships, projects, or early professional experience—and is looking to continue developing their commercial and client-facing skills in a supportive environment.

What You’ll Do

- Support the identification and development of new business opportunities within the Utilities sector 

- Work alongside senior sales and delivery teams on active client engagements 

- Contribute to proposals, presentations, and outreach efforts 

- Research target accounts and help translate insights into thoughtful engagement strategies 

- Participate in client meetings and support next steps and follow-ups 

- Suggest improvements to how we build pipeline and engage with clients 

Qualifications

- 0–3 years of experience in Business Development, Consulting, Sales, or similar roles 

- Demonstrated initiative and ownership (e.g., taking responsibility for a project, driving something forward independently) 

- Clear communication skills and comfort interacting with others 

- Thoughtful problem-solving and willingness to ask questions and learn 

- Ability to stay organized and follow through on commitments
