Job description

Bright Beginnings Learning Center is a nurturing, Alabama DHR licensed childcare facility dedicated to providing a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for young children. We are seeking a passionate and dependable 3-Year-Old Lead Teacher to join our team!


The 3-Year-Old Lead Teacher is responsible for creating a warm, structured, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes early learning, social-emotional development, and school readiness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with Alabama DHR guidelines
  • Foster a safe, caring, and inclusive classroom environment
  • Promote social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development
  • Maintain classroom management and positive behavior guidance
  • Ensure compliance with DHR licensing standards and center policies
  • Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and daily activities
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation as required

Qualifications:

  • Must meet Alabama DHR minimum standards for childcare staff
  • High School Diploma or GED (required)
  • CDA (Child Development Associate) or higher in Early Childhood Education (preferred)
  • Experience working with preschool-aged children (especially 3-year-olds)
  • Must pass background check and required clearances
  • Current CPR & First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)
