Job description

Heartfelt Impressions Learning Centers has an immediate opening for an Assistant Teacher in one of our Preschool classrooms. The successful candidate should be creative, able to engage children with fun, hands-on activities that foster both their cognitive and social-emotional growth. Strong communication skills are essential, and a passion for continuous learning and growth in the field of early childhood education is key.
In collaboration with the Lead Teacher, the Assistant Teacher in the young preschool classroom has responsibility for the care, supervision, and management of a classroom in accordance with set goals and curriculum plans.
Position Detail:
  • Status: Regular, full-time
  • Schedule: Monday -Friday 8am-5pm
  • Pay range: $14.50-$20.50/hour, (depending on certification and/or education and years of experience in Early Childhood Education)
  • Please note: This position does not qualify for US Visa sponsorship or relocation

Requirements
  • You must have full time availability
  • A CDA Child Development Associate credential or degree in Early Childhood are preferred but not required
  • CPR Certification is required but can be completed after hire
  • You must be at least 18 years of age
  • Reliable transportation required
  • Prior experience working at an early childhood education center or as a nanny is preferred
  • Ability to pass a Background Check (digital fingerprinting)
