Lil' Sunflowers Learning Academy is a  looking for a passionate, dedicated, and experienced educator who is committed to creating a positive, engaging, and nurturing learning environment where preschool children can thrive.
Position Details

Qualifications
  • Possess an associate degree in early childhood education or child development; or a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, child development, or a child-related field; or valid child development associate credential(CDA); or Montessori credentials.
  • Experience working with preschool-aged children
  • Strong classroom management, organization, and communication skills
  • Knowledge of child development and developmentally appropriate practices
  • Passion for helping children build confidence, independence, and a lifelong love of learning
Responsibilities
  • Help plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons aligned with the Creative Curriculum and Michigan Early Learning Standards
  • Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment
  • Complete required child assessments, documentation, and family communication
  • Build strong partnerships with families and collaborate with fellow educators
  • Maintain compliance with all GSRP, licensing, and program requirements
