We are currently seeking a passionate individual with daycare or preschool experience to join our team as a Preschool Assistant Center Director.

As a Preschool Assistant Center Director at The Learning Experience, You Will:
  • Support the Center Director with daily center operations and help ensure the school runs smoothly.
  • Serve as a leader and positive example for teachers, children, and families.
  • Help create a welcoming, professional, and happy school environment where children, families, and staff feel supported.
  • Conduct tours for prospective families and clearly share what makes our school special.
  • Follow up with leads, families who toured, and families who are interested in enrolling.
  • Maintain lead tracking, enrollment records, and customer information.
  • Assist with local marketing efforts, community outreach, and center events to help increase enrollment.
  • Build relationships with local businesses, housing communities, parent groups, and community partners.
  • Support social media efforts to improve parent engagement, retention, and school visibility.
  • Engage prospective families through both in-person and virtual center tours, effectively showcasing the benefits of our program. Organize and execute community marketing events to raise awareness and drive enrollment.
  • Help increase family retention, positive parent experiences, and Google reviews.
  • Assist with staff coaching, training, accountability, and classroom support.
  • Help ensure the center remains in compliance with state licensing, health, safety, and company standards.
  • Support new family enrollment paperwork, child files, and required documentation.
  • Assist with medication management and proper documentation.
  • Step into classrooms as needed to support ratios and daily operations.
  • Help review parent and staff handbooks at least annually.
  • Assist with special events, parent communication, curriculum activities, and school-wide programs.
Note: The first six months in this role will be heavily focused on driving enrollment. We are seeking someone with a strong background in early childhood education, along with excellent marketing and customer service skills. A performance-based bonus is also available upon meeting enrollment goals.

  • 2 or more years of center leadership or management experience is highly preferred.
  • Daycare, preschool, or early childhood education experience is required.
  • Texas Child Care Director credential/license is required or must be actively in progress.
  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Texas childcare licensing rules and minimum standards.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong follow-up skills and comfort speaking with prospective families.
  • Experience with enrollment, tours, marketing, or community outreach is a plus.
  • Ability to lead with professionalism, patience, and a team-first attitude.
  • Must be dependable, organized, flexible, and willing to jump in where needed.
