Assistant Teacher - Early Childhood Education
Grow With Us is looking for a caring and dedicated Assistant Teacher to join our early childhood education team! If you have a passion for helping young children learn, grow, and thrive in a nurturing environment, we'd love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
  • Observe and support each child's developmental progress through daily documentation and assessments.
  • Follow the classroom's daily schedule to ensure consistency and smooth operation.
  • Implement age-appropriate learning activities that promote physical, emotional, social, and cognitive growth.
  • Create and maintain an organized, welcoming, and safe classroom environment.
  • Prepare engaging materials for play and exploration.
  • Assist with diapering, toileting, and hygiene routines as needed.
  • Support meal and snack preparation while following food safety and CDC guidelines.
  • Perform daily cleaning and safety checks to maintain a clean and healthy classroom.
  • Provide classroom coverage and support to maintain staff-child ratios at all times.

Compliance & Professionalism
  • Stay up to date with State of Florida, ELC, OEL, and DCF standards.
  • Support classroom teams and communicate any compliance concerns to the Director.
  • Maintain professionalism in all interactions with children, families, staff, and visitors.
  • Foster positive relationships with families and colleagues to ensure quality care and education.

Qualifications
  • Experience working with young children in an early learning environment is preferred.
  • Ability to follow schedules, classroom routines, and state regulations.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and organization skills.
  • Must meet all state licensing and background screening requirements.
