POSITION OVERVIEW
The Education Administrator is the primary owner of Loenbro's employee and family education benefit programs. This role manages the company's tuition reimbursement program, oversees continued education support for employees pursuing professional development, and serves as the day-to-day relationship manager for Loenbro's partnership with Gravitas - an online college-preparatory school available to employees and their eligible dependents as a company benefit.
This is a highly visible, relationship-driven role that sits within Loenbro University (LU) and operates at the intersection of employee experience, benefits administration, and external partnership management. The Education Administrator is the single point of contact employees rely on to navigate education opportunities, and the person responsible for ensuring Loenbro's investment in education benefits is communicated clearly, utilized broadly, and managed with integrity.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Gravitas Partnership Management
โ€ข Serve as Loenbro's primary point of contact with Gravitas, managing the day-to-day relationship and ensuring a high-quality experience for enrolled employees and their children
โ€ข Drive employee awareness and enrollment - communicating program availability, eligibility requirements, and enrollment processes across Loenbro's distributed workforce
โ€ข Facilitate onboarding for new enrollees, coordinating with Gravitas staff to ensure smooth starts for students
โ€ข Track enrollment, engagement, and utilization metrics; provide regular reporting to L&D and People Operations leadership
โ€ข Resolve employee and family questions, concerns, or escalations related to the Gravitas program
โ€ข Stay current on Gravitas program updates, curriculum offerings, and partnership terms; communicate relevant changes internally
โ€ข Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to position the Gravitas benefit as a recruiting and retention differentiator
Tuition Reimbursement Program
โ€ข Administer Loenbro's tuition reimbursement program from application through reimbursement, ensuring policy compliance and timely processing
โ€ข Serve as the primary resource for employees navigating tuition reimbursement eligibility, approvals, and reimbursement requests
โ€ข Maintain accurate records and documentation for all reimbursement activity; coordinate with Finance and HR as needed
โ€ข Monitor program utilization and budget; surface trends and recommendations to L&D leadership
โ€ข Periodically review program policies and recommend updates that reflect market practices and workforce needs
Continued Education & Development Support
โ€ข Support employees pursuing certifications, professional licenses, continuing education units (CEUs), and other self-directed learning aligned with their career growth
โ€ข Maintain awareness of relevant educational resources, scholarships, and partner programs that could benefit Loenbro employees or their families
โ€ข Assist with communications, awareness campaigns, and promotional materials related to education benefits
โ€ข As the education benefits portfolio grows, support the evaluation and onboarding of new educational partnerships or programs
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
โ€ข Bachelor's degree in Education, Educational Administration, or a closely related field
โ€ข 2+ years of direct experience in an educational setting - such as school administration, academic advising, enrollment services, or student records management
โ€ข Demonstrated experience with academic records, grade filing, transcripts, enrollment documentation, or related administrative processes
โ€ข Familiarity with online learning platforms, learning management systems (LMS), or digital school environments
โ€ข Experience working with or supporting partnerships with schools, universities, or other educational institutions
โ€ข Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - this role interfaces directly with employees and their families and requires a warm, approachable presence
โ€ข Ability to present program information, enrollment updates, and utilization data clearly to internal stakeholders and leadership
โ€ข High degree of accuracy and attention to detail in record-keeping, documentation, and compliance tracking
โ€ข Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple programs and priorities simultaneously
โ€ข Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
