About the Role:
Join Cozy Childcare & Learning Center as a Lead Teacher, where your passion for nurturing young minds will shine! We are dedicated to creating a warm and engaging environment for children to learn and grow, and we need a dedicated leader to guide our team.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that foster creativity and critical thinking.
  • Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and support staff in daily classroom activities.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating classroom environment for children.
  • Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child’s progress and development.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to track children's growth and learning milestones.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience and curriculum.
  • Organize and participate in school events and community outreach programs.
  • Ensure compliance with state regulations and licensing requirements for childcare facilities.
  • Participate in day to day operation of center and cover for other staff when absent
  • Ensure Sign-in and Sign-out are completed on daily basis for the class
  • Always have active supervision on every child in the class, hallways, playground or on field trips 
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or CDA or TCC.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a childcare or educational setting.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective parent and team interactions.
  • Ability to create a nurturing and inclusive environment for all children.
  • Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early education.
  • Patience, creativity, and a passion for working with young children.
  • Must pass background checks and adhere to state licensing requirements.
