IDEALFORCE has a Contract position available immediately for a MvM Instructional Designer (Technical Policy Writer) to join our customer in Phoenix Arizona. This is an ONSITE position. Job Description

The Instructional Designer will work with the User Readiness Lead and adhere to development standards to create eLearning modules and live/virtual training sessions, instructor-led training guides, and supporting materials for the MvM Project enterprise software adoption.


Specific job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Work with subject matter experts and identify target audience's training needs

State instructional end goals and create content that matches them

Create engaging learning activities and compelling course content that enhances retention and transfer

Outline course concept, defining (needs for) the course, content delivery, assessments, accompanying materials, and complementary learning approaches

Create supporting exercises, scenarios, and assessments that enhance the learning process

Create supporting materials/media (audio, video, graphics, simulations, etc.)

Define data requirements needed for exercises

Conduct quality review of all training deliverables

Ensures issues are identified and resolved in a timely manner

Decide on the criteria used to judge learner's performance and develop assessment instruments

Complete various training, project management, and administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications

Ability to work in a team environment

Excellent knowledge of learning theories and instructional design methodologies

Solid knowledge of course development software (Articulate Storyline preferred)

Ability to storyboard

Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, and audio scripts

Strong written and verbal English grammar, spelling, punctuation, usage & pronunciation

Visual design skills (Photoshop, Illustrator) a plus

Ability to publish and manage learning content to an LMS

Ability to facilitate instructor-led training, either live or virtual, is a plus

Experience:

Minimum 6 years of experience designing and developing training content (both classroom and eLearning)

Knowledge of instructional design concepts and principles


Education:

Bachelor's Degree or other formal training in instructional design, educational technology, adult-learning or similar preferred.
