Job Summary:
Visionist, Inc. has an exciting new opportunity for a Cloud Software Engineer supporting critical big data processing platforms. The role involves building interactive desktop applications and supporting users while working with the latest technologies.
Responsibilities:
• Work in a full stack environment while focusing on desktop applications
• Build highly interactive, data dense, desktop applications with web technologies
• Directly support active users face-to-face, often daily
• Support the rapid development and deployment of patches and updates to an existing system in a dynamic role
Qualifications:
Required:
• Active Top Secret (TS/SCI) clearance with polygraph is required.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline. (Additional 2 years of experience may substitute degree)
• 3 years of experience in software development
• Experience with Java, Kotlin, Typescript, React or Redux, Protobuf, Websockets, WebGL, low-level data, and efficient memory mgmt
• Experience with Version Control (Git)
• Interest in working on a small expert team that communicates regularly with analysts and willingness to take on tasks, from requirements gathering and design to deployment
