As our new Online Learning Associate, you will collaborate with the training team and other stakeholders across the organization to support the planning, delivery, and evaluation of our online learning programs, including live instructor-led courses. Description:


The Online Learning Associate will be responsible for coordinating with the Online Learning Specialist and other members of the training team to deliver high-quality online training experiences for our partners. You’ll play a vital role in helping shape and deliver world-class training experiences for our partner network. Core elements of the role will include, but not be limited to: assisting in the design and delivery of online learning experiences, supporting curriculum development and content uploads, managing participant communication and engagement, coordinating logistics for live virtual sessions, and facilitating select online activities. 


Core responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

1. Content Development & Instructional Design (50%)

  • Supporting content development for online training programs by writing and developing content scripts for new training
  • Supporting content development by formatting, organizing, and uploading materials into the LMS
  • Supporting academic quality control by reviewing course materials for clarity, structure, and intellectual rigor before publication


2. Learning Assessment & Quality Assurance (30%)

  • Reviewing and grading participant assignments in online courses, providing clear, constructive feedback aligned with Atlas Network standards


3. Program Coordination & Stakeholder Collaboration (10%)

  • Program and participant management for instructor-led online courses, including scheduling, communication, and learner support
  • Coordination with facilitators, trainers, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth course delivery and high-quality learning experiences
  • Collaborating with the Online Learning Specialist, facilitators, and other team members to ensure smooth program delivery


4. Data Management, Reporting & Continuous Improvement (10%)

  • Collecting and managing participant data, tracking engagement, and generating reports from post-course surveys and learning metrics
  • Contributing to ongoing improvements in online program operations and learner experience


Job Requirements:


  • No experience required, 1–2 years of experience in a nonprofit or administrative setting preferred (internships acceptable).
  • Advanced study in economics, political philosophy, public policy, international relations or related fields.
  • Excellent writing, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn a learning management system/ CRM/database systems.
  • Understanding of online tools such as G-Suite and Canva. 
  • Commitment to advancing individual liberty, free markets, and limited government through policy and civil society
  • Ability to collaborate with colleagues and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Under most conditions this position requires regular work hours. This role can be hybrid, or full time in the Atlas Network Office. Candidates should be comfortable working flexible hours, when needed.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Ability to travel (domestic and international), as required (must have a valid Passport).


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar academic support role.
  • Demonstrated strength in academic writing, editing, and critical analysis, with experience reviewing, evaluating, or grading written work and providing clear, constructive feedback aligned with defined standards.
