We are seeking a Learning & Development Specialist to join our Client Training team. In this role, you will design, plan, deliver, and continuously improve high-quality training experiences that help clients successfully adopt and expand their use of Cvent products. This position will be part of Cvent's Client Services and report to the Training Program Lead. This position will be in Tysons Corner, VA.
You'll facilitate webinars, virtual trainings, and in-person workshops; update and build training materials; and collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to ensure our client education programs are timely, impactful, and aligned to business goals.
In This Role, You Will:
  • Deliver engaging client-facing training (virtual and in person) on Cvent products and workflows, including public webinars, customer workshops, and conference or on-site sessions at Cvent offices and client locations.
  • Assess client training needs through analysis of client's use of Cvent products and consultation with internal client-facing team members
  • Partner with other trainers, product management and service delivery teams to determine training needs related to new product releases and design training sessions and related training materials
  • Proactively review and update previously created training materials to ensure they are current and are meeting the needs of clients
  • Maintain product knowledge to ensure best in class service to clients and to develop future training programs and materials
  • Leverage approved AI tools to increase the efficiency, creativity, and impact of training programs-supporting tasks like content drafting, quiz generation, data analysis, and productivity support-while following L&D team guidelines for responsible use.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness through feedback surveys, knowledge checks, participation data, and follow-up conversations; translate insights into actionable improvements for future sessions.
  • Support internal enablement as needed, acting as a subject-matter expert and occasional facilitator for internal teams on client training offerings and delivery best practices.
  • Travel up to 40% (primarily domestic and potentially some international)

Here's What You Need:
  • Excellent Interpersonal, presentation, and verbal and written communication skills are required
  • 18 months to 2 years of experience delivering training (instructor-led, virtual, and/or eLearning) or in a client-facing role supporting a SaaS or technology product; experience with Cvent products or the events industry is a plus.
  • BA or BS is highly desired
  • Experience in designing and developing training programs or materials
  • Comfort with technology and data, including learning new software quickly, using LMS or training tools, and interpreting basic training metrics to inform decisions.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple training projects and sessions simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to act independently to achieve needed results
