JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented student to join our team as a Technical Writing & Learning Development Co-op Student. In this role, you will support the creation and enhancement of technical documentation and learning materials, gaining practical experience in technical writing, instructional design, and content development. This position is ideal for students pursuing a degree in Technical Writing, Communication, Education, Instructional Design, or a related field.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop, edit, and maintain technical documents such as user manuals, installation guides, process documentation, and FAQs
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to accurately capture technical information and translate it into clear, user-friendly content
  • Assist in the design and creation of instructional materials, including e-learning modules, training presentations, and video tutorials
  • Support the implementation of learning programs by organizing materials, coordinating sessions, and assisting with participant communication
  • Review and revise existing documentation and training materials to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with company standards
  • Help maintain a centralized repository of documentation and learning resources, ensuring easy access and version control
  • Participate in the development of templates, style guides, and best practices for technical writing and instructional design
  • Engage in regular feedback sessions with team members to refine and improve content quality and learning outcomes
  • Contribute to cross-functional projects that involve technical writing and learning development, providing insights and recommendations
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES FOR SUCCESS
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with an ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely
  • Familiarity with technical writing and instructional design principles
