Commercial Learning is a recognized, innovative, sought-after learning organization, both inside and outside of AstraZeneca, that is at the heart of building a world-class commercial organization and crafting a culture of lifelong learning.

The Commercial Learning National Sales Trainer reports to the Director of CVRM Learning and Development. You will facilitate and implement learning solutions both within AstraZeneca's headquarters and in the field. Programs include launch learning experiences, onboarding, product training, simulations, and ongoing learning events related to promoted AZ brands. You will collaborate with colleagues across Commercial Learning, Brand teams and Sales Leadership.

Additionally, you will identify and communicate learning needs of the field. You may be cross-trained on multiple brands to accommodate business dynamics. Commercial Learning influences content and delivers solutions across the Commercial organization, including cross-functional teams in global markets. The role includes occasional travel.

What You'll Do:

ALIGN

  • Collaborate with cross-functional Commercial Learning partners, brand and sales teams, vendor partners, and across the AstraZeneca organization to understand needs, design solutions, and deliver extraordinary learning experiences

  • Work closely with peer National Sales Trainers to coordinate learning integration touchpoints

  • In tandem with Commercial Learning Leaders, ensure field leadership is aligned with launch and sales learning initiatives

  • Align and implement department and commercial strategies, plans, and initiatives, modeling behaviors consistent with organizational culture, values, and policies

  • Scout for emerging technologies to support a dynamic field force in a hybrid (virtual) environment

  • Champion inclusion, engagement, and accountability for making AstraZeneca a great place to work

DESIGN

  • Bring innovative ideas/solutions to our current approach, pushing status quo in a spirit of constant improvement

  • Work with brand teams to integrate brand strategy into all learning content (new hire/advanced)

  • Identify and share both innovative and standard learning methodologies that can apply across therapeutic areas

  • Build learning activities and experiences that reflect a diverse and expansive approach to our learners, our patients, our customers and our colleagues

  • Ensure compliance guidelines and accountability are clearly represented in all learning material and experiences

DELIVER

  • Deliver learning solutions to sales teams to meet the needs identified in the Commercial Learning plan, including product- and disease state-specific training

  • Lead onboarding for new sales representatives, introducing them to the organization, providing them with initial learning materials, and facilitating their integration into the organization.

  • Lead product sales learning for existing portfolio and around new products and indications

  • Leadselling skills education for new hire and existing sales representatives

  • Bring a patient-centric mindset in design and delivery, putting patients at the heart of each learning interaction

Essential for the role

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Minimum 2 years in CVRM pharmaceutical sales experience

  • Experience in learning & development, curriculum design, and delivery
