Are you a dynamic presenter who enjoys developing people, facilitating engaging training programs, and traveling to locations throughout Florida to make an impact? We are seeking an experienced Learning & Development Manager to lead training initiatives that build leadership capability, strengthen employee performance, and support organizational growth.
This highly visible role partners with Operations, Safety, and HR leaders to develop and deliver learning solutions for employees at all levels. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable facilitating a classroom of frontline employees, presenting to leadership teams, and leveraging technology and data to measure training effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assess organizational training and development needs and implement effective learning solutions.
  • Design and facilitate engaging instructor-led, virtual, and blended learning programs.
  • Travel extensively throughout Florida to conduct training sessions, leadership workshops, and business meetings at multiple operating locations.
  • Develop leadership, onboarding, compliance, safety, technical, and professional development programs.
  • Manage and enhance the Learning Management System (LMS) and training records.
  • Create and maintain training metrics, dashboards, and reports using Excel, Power BI, and other business tools.
  • Partner with leaders to drive employee development, performance improvement, and organizational readiness.
  • Evaluate program effectiveness and continuously improve learning experiences.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in Learning & Development, Training, Facilitation, Organizational Development, or related fields.
  • Exceptional presentation and facilitation skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
  • Strong technical skills, including advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and learning technologies.
  • Experience developing and delivering instructor-led training programs.
  • Strong project management, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Construction, manufacturing, or industrial experience strongly preferred.

Additional Requirements
  • Ability and willingness to travel extensively throughout Florida (approximately 35-40%) for training delivery, meetings, and employee development initiatives.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends as business needs require.
