BCG Learning and Development (L&D) delivers a world-class learning experience that accelerates our people's development, deepens their sense of belonging, and unlocks their potential to impact our firm, our clients, and the world. The SLE team supports the broader mission of L&D by bringing learning into the everyday experience of our staff. You will partner closely with the System Learning Manager to address staff development needs by directing learners to relevant resources and creating local learning experiences. You will also collaborate closely with other NAMR L&D sub-teams and local People functions to ensure alignment across staff development touchpoints and deliver cohesive learning experiences. This includes executing best-in-class in-person elements of our Learning Journey curriculum and accelerating organizational learning through campaigns. As the System Learning Senior Specialist, you will serve as a key point of contact for new employees as they embark on their BCG career. You will play an instrumental role in their successful onboarding and skill development, which is critical to our ability to serve our clients with excellence.

We are seeking an individual who has a passion for people development and delivering outstanding customer service, is highly organized, is energized by complex process and project management, enjoys event production, and who is keen to develop and challenge themselves in a diverse team setting with constantly evolving curricula, processes, and priorities.

To be successful in this role, you will need to think on your feet, be solution-oriented, and communicate at all levels of the organization to deliver quality experiences for our participants and facilitators. You will also need to demonstrate that you can work independently and collaborate with a team, effectively handle multiple priorities, and comfortably adapt to last minute changes and demands.

In addition, we are looking for someone who is comfortable with technology, including managing L&D's cloud-based Learning Management System (SABA)

Key accountabilities:

  • Provide guidance and help OneBCG client-facing staff navigate the broad L&D ecosystem
  • Manage onsite coordination of all components of program execution, such as internal presenters, external vendors, catering, and affiliation events
  • Lead the planning and execution of system- and local-level learning journey programs, ensuring seamless delivery and exceptional participant experiences.
  • Serve as the primary campaign coordinator for the system, working closely with the System Learning Manager to activate firmwide and regional learning initiatives through tailored, localized execution.
  • Drive capacity planning efforts across programs and touchpoints to ensure alignment of resources and participant flow.
  • Manage program budgets, including tracking vendor costs and identifying opportunities for efficiency while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams-including Learning Topic Activation, HR, Office Services, and IT-to deliver integrated onboarding and development experiences.
  • Monitor and synthesize program feedback, using insights to inform continuous improvement efforts and share learnings with broader L&D stakeholders.
  • Contribute to team norms and culture, supporting the onboarding and mentorship of new team members and participating in strategic office-level initiatives.
  • Perform additional special projects to support local office L&D priorities, including ad hoc learning needs and office-driven development efforts.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree with at least 3-5 years of relevant business experience, preferably in event management, recruiting, training or other people functions
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (including PowerPoint, Excel and Word)
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven strength in managing complex problems and demonstrating flexibility
  • Highest ethical standards and ability to respect all BCG and employee information as personal and confidential

Who You'll Work With

You will be part of a large NAMR Learning & Teaming function that supports over 4,500 non-MDP core, expert and SBU consulting team members across North America and delivers over 150 local training programs a year.

The team values a collaborative, inclusive, and supportive environment and thrives on a sense of pride and ownership for the work that they do. A strong emphasis is placed not only on the development of our learners, but on the development of team members as well.
