The Opportunity

Williams International has an exciting opportunity for a Human Resources Generalist to join our team.

The HR Generalist will support the HR processes, programs and policies with a focus on Learning & Development.

Additionally, the HR Generalist will:

  • Design, implement and evaluate training programs, which could include any audio-visual aids, handbooks, reference tools, newsletters, and/or written on-line documentation, to meet specific training needs
  • Assess training and development needs through surveys, interviews, focus groups, and communication with managers, instructors and other internal customers
  • Continuously evaluate relevancy and accuracy of curricula content, and monitor the process and impact of training on learning and on-the-job performance
  • Review, recommend, revise and monitor proposed and existing training programs, procedures and forms, and training matrices for the different functions and roles within the organization
  • Prepare reports and studies on training programs and activities as well as update records and reports tied to the training budget
  • Organize and plan the logistics of on-site trainings
  • Maintain records of training and development activities, attendance, results and retraining requirements
  • Oversee an internal rotation program for entry-level professional candidates
  • Perform general Human Resources duties including employee recruiting and retention, employee communications, serving as a resources to employees and managers within the organization

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in the HR field with focus in supporting learning & development initiatives
  • Proven experience in developing workplace, corporate, or leadership training initiatives
  • Proven experience in full life-cycle recruiting, sourcing, and onboarding
  • Strong organizational, planning, human relations and communications skills
  • Thorough knowledge of principles and practices of training and development methods and techniques as well as evaluation techniques
  • Considerable knowledge in methods to identify training needs, reporting and evaluating results of needs assessments, and analyzing performance problems
  • Proven proficiency utilizing Learning Management Systems
  • U.S. citizenship is required
