POSITION SUMMARY
The Instructional Design Associate Intern supports the design, development, and maintenance of learning solutions that help employees build knowledge and skills. Working under the guidance of experienced instructional designers, this role participates in content development projects, collaborates with subject matter experts, and contributes to the creation of engaging digital learning experiences. This internship provides meaningful hands-on experience with instructional design processes, learning technologies, and project collaboration.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist with designing and developing e-learning courses, learning journeys, videos, assessments, and job aids.
• Draft storyboards, scripts, and learning content using established instructional design standards.
• Partner with instructional designers and subject matter experts to gather information and support content development projects.
• Create and update content in learning authoring tools such as Rise 360 and Storyline.
• Conduct content reviews to verify accuracy, quality, accessibility, and consistency.
• Assist with course testing, deployment preparation, and learning platform updates.
• Support localization and translation readiness activities for global learning content.
• Participate in project meetings and contribute ideas for improving learner engagement and course effectiveness.
• Help maintain project documentation, templates, and development resources.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the learning team.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Learning Technologies, Communications, Multimedia Design, Technical Communication, Business, or a related field.
• Strong interest in instructional design, digital learning, or employee development.
• Excellent written communication and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with Canva, video editing software, Articulate Storyline, Rise 360, or similar tools is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn new technologies and processes.
