A Taste of What You'll Do
As a Learning & Development Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting training initiatives that help employees grow, succeed, and stay compliant. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to coordinate training activities, maintain accurate records, and ensure training materials are current, accessible, and aligned with organizational standards. Your attention to detail and organization will be essential in delivering a seamless learning experience.

In this role, you’ll manage training logistics from start to finish—scheduling sessions, supporting instructors and facilities, and ensuring participants complete required programs on time. You’ll also take ownership of document control processes, ensuring training materials are properly versioned, reviewed, and approved before use. By maintaining accurate records in the Learning Management System (LMS) and generating reports, you’ll provide valuable insights that help improve training effectiveness and compliance.

What You'll Need

  • High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 2 years of administrative, human resources, or training support experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Required travel will be up to 15% of the time for coordinator roles that support Coastal sites.
  • Skilled in reading, comprehending, interpreting and executing simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
  • Skilled in the use of MS Word at an intermediate level; MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Access at a basic level.
  • Skilled in reading and interpreting documents; safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and technical manuals.
  • Required to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
  • Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
  • Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
