Infosys Public Services is currently seeking an experienced Senior Business Development Manager - Federal with a focus on US Federal markets to drive business development and join our Client Services Group.
Position Description (scope of work or brief narrative):
  • The primary focus of the Senior Business Development Manager will be to identify, qualify, and win new business opportunities with Federal and Civilian agencies. The successful candidate will, therefore, have expertise in these agencies' mission objectives, program operations, and business processes and be intimately familiar with the life cycle acquisition processes that drive the Government technology capture process.
  • The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to offer the customer unique perspectives, have two-way solid communication skills, understand the client value drivers and business economics, and be able to have an effective conversation regarding technology services, offerings, and solutions
Required years of experience, training, technical skills, and other requirements for job performance:
  • 14+ years of business development experience, including selling technology-related services and solutions to US Federal Government agencies with emphasis on IRS, VA, and HHS.
  • Experience in closing deals in IT Consulting and Systems Integration (client account selling vs. transaction/product selling).
  • A demonstrated track record of closing $10M+ IT Consulting / Systems Integration deals.
  • Must have developed and maintained client and teaming partner relationships in targeted Federal key accounts.
  • Good understanding of IT Projects' Life Cycles and emerging technologies such as Cloud Infrastructure, Artificial Intelligence, and Block Chain.
  • Willing to undertake an extensive amount of business-related travel. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Educational Requirements
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent is required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive, relevant work experience instead of every year of education. Candidates who have completed a Master's degree program are strongly preferred.
The job also entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face-to-face.
Estimated annual compensation range for this role will be as follows:
In CA/ WA/NY/CO/MD/IL/MN/NJ/Washington DC: $128,000 to $250,000
