The Director of Learning Programs plays a pivotal role in shaping the organization's learning and development strategy to meet evolving business needs. This strategic leader is responsible for designing and scaling innovative learning solutions that drive organizational capability and performance.
The role leads the development of cutting-edge content strategies, leveraging AI, social learning, and simulations to enhance learner engagement and retention. The Director oversees a high-performing team, partners with key stakeholders to align learning initiatives with business goals and ensures continuous improvement through robust evaluation metrics. Key responsibilities include managing learning technologies, building a dynamic skills taxonomy, and fostering a culture of continuous development across the enterprise.
Essential Responsibilities/Success Factors
Strategic Content and Learning Development
  • Scalable Content Strategy: Develop and implement strategies to quickly scale and build learning content that aligns with organizational objectives.
  • Innovative Learning Models: Establish models and frameworks for innovative learning, incorporating current trends such as social learning and AI simulations to enhance engagement and effectiveness.
  • Skill Reinforcement: Implement methods to reinforce skills and behaviors beyond the learning event, ensuring long-term impact and application.

Team and Stakeholder Management
  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a team focused on high accountability and best-in-class learning solutions.

Minimum Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Required:

  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years in learning and development roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership position overseeing learning programs and teams.
  • Systems and Tools: Expertise in Learning Management Systems and instructional design tools. Familiarity with AI-driven learning technologies and simulations.

  • A Master's degree is preferred.
