Job Title: Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Caregiver Mercer County, PA

Direct Support Professional (DSP) $18-23/hr + $1,000 Signing Bonus Mercer County, PA

Abound Health is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide caregiving and daily living support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) across our Residential Group Homes in Sharpsville and West Middlesex, PA. We have full-time and part-time opportunities available on multiple shifts.

As a DSP, you will assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), community participation, and behavioral support while helping residents live as independently as possible. What Youll Do

As a DSP, you will provide hands-on support that helps individuals build independence and confidence. Being a DSP is a rewarding experience you will genuinely make a difference in somebodys life. Responsibilities will include:

Build positive relationships and support individuals in achieving personal goals
Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, hygiene, and household tasks
Support individuals in community participation, employment, and social activities
Use adaptive tools to aid learning and facilitate communication
Encourage independence and help individuals develop new skills
Monitor health and safety while maintaining a supportive environment
Communicate with Abound team members, families, and external parties (case managers, etc.) as needed
Complete documentation and maintain schedules
Complete ongoing training and professional development
