The Learning Effectiveness Consultant is responsible for measuring, analyzing, and optimizing the effectiveness of commercial learning programs across employee and dealer audiences globally. This role serves as the primary expert for learning analytics, evaluation, and business impact measurement within the Commercial Learning Team. The Learning Effectiveness Consultant establishes measurement strategies, evaluates program outcomes, identifies insights, and drives continuous improvement. In addition, this position serves as the Commercial Learning Team's subject matter expert for learning technologies, digital learning capabilities, analytics platforms, and emerging AI-enabled solutions that improve learner experience, scalability, and business impact.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement a comprehensive learning measurement and evaluation strategy for commercial learning programs.
    • Establish consistent methodologies, standards, and processes for measuring learning effectiveness.
    • Define success metrics for new and existing learning initiatives.
    • Ensure measurement approaches support both employee and dealer learning programs.
  • Serve as the primary advisor to the Commercial Learning Team, business partners and stakeholders on learning technology capabilities.
    • Evaluate and leverage current and emerging learning technologies to modernize commercial learning programs, enhance learner experiences, improve learning effectiveness and engagement, and increase scalability and operational efficiency.
    • Lead the evaluation, implementation, and optimization of AI-enabled learning tools and capabilities. Assess AI-based solutions for: Practice simulations, Role-play coaching, Skills assessments, Personalized learning recommendations, learning content creation, knowledge reinforcement, Learning analytics
  • Manage the team’s various dashboards, looking for efficiencies, consistency and improvement opportunities.
  • Manage financial recovery model and annual pricing review process

Summary Pay Range:

$128,470.00 - $192,710.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
