Position Overview

Leaps & Bounds Physical Therapy is excited to announce an opportunity for a dedicated full-time Staff Physical Therapist in our Orthopedic Outpatient Office located in picturesque Windsor, Colorado. This role is integral to our commitment to delivering personalized care and improving patient mobility and quality of life. As a Staff Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for conducting thorough patient evaluations, creating tailored treatment plans, and collaborating with our multidisciplinary healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Work Environment

As part of our dynamic outpatient office in Windsor, you will work in a collaborative and modern clinical setting, equipped with state-of-the-art rehabilitation tools and equipment. Our facility fosters a supportive atmosphere where therapists share knowledge and skills, emphasizing ongoing communication and teamwork with all staff members, including Physical Therapist Assistants. The clinic operates Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, offering a balanced work-life schedule.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth evaluations for new patients, assessing their physical capabilities and limitations while establishing baseline metrics for progress tracking.
  • Develop, document, and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices and patient goals.
  • Provide guidance and supervision to Physical Therapist Assistants to ensure compliance with state regulations and clinical standards.
  • Maintain accurate electronic medical records using WebPT EMR, ensuring timely and precise documentation of patient interactions.
  • Regularly communicate with referring physicians and interdisciplinary team members to discuss patient status and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Foster strong therapeutic relationships with patients and their families, addressing concerns and promoting adherence to prescribed home exercise programs.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with adults experiencing a variety of orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation, chronic pain, sports injuries, and joint disorders. We take pride in our ability to tailor therapy specifically to each patient, ensuring they receive a holistic treatment approach that focuses on their unique goals and challenges.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
  • Possession of an active Colorado Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain one.
  • A strong commitment to providing patient-centered care with a reputation for fostering teamwork and collaboration.
Preferred Experience
  • At least two years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
  • Familiarity with WebPT EMR or similar electronic documentation systems is preferred but not mandatory.
Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000, contingent upon experience and qualifications.
