The Role

We're looking for curious, driven systems analysts who want to understand how technology and business come together to solve problems and deliver value for customers.

In this role, you will:

  • Support analysis activities by participating in stakeholder discussions, capturing requirements, and helping clarify ambiguities with guidance from senior analysts and team members
  • Work on real projects from start to finish, gaining exposure to the full delivery lifecycle including requirements, architecture, design, testing, and implementation
  • Create and maintain documentation such as user stories, functional specifications, acceptance criteria, and process/data flow diagrams using standard tools and templates, while describing basic concepts and major activities associated with requirements analysis
  • Develop an understanding of business context, system workflows, data flows, and upstream/downstream dependencies across the technology landscape
  • Support basic data analysis activities, including running queries, validating test data, and investigating simple data or system issues. while identifying gaps between current systems and future business needs.
  • Assist with testing efforts by creating test cases, executing tests, analyzing results, and logging defects
  • Explore emerging tools and technologies, including AI, and learn how to apply them responsibly to improve analysis and delivery outcomes
  • Contribute as part of a team focused on delivering solutions that help customers achieve their long-term financial goals

Skills You Bring

  • Pursuing or recently completed a bachelor's degree in Business, MIS, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Familiarity with requirements gathering, documentation, or systems analysis concepts (academic or internship experience)
  • Foundational awareness of data concepts (e.g., data flows, data validation, or querying)
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to break down problems and ask thoughtful, clarifying questions
  • Familiarity with diagramming tools such as Visio or Drawio
  • Hands-on project or internship experience (preferred)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate and thrive in a fast-paced, team environment
  • Curiosity, attention to detail, and a passion for continuous learning

Fidelity's Onsite Working Model
