Job description

Job Title: Accounting / Administrative Support (Entry-Level) Internship
Location: Roseville, CA (On-site)
Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week)
Duration: Temporary (approx.1-2 months)
Reports To: VP, Property Management Accounting

About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented temporary team member to support our Property Management Accounting team with banking audit activities and preparation for an upcoming bank migration. This is a project-based role focused on data collection, research, and organization. No accounting background is required; strong Excel skills, organization, and communication are key.

What Youโ€™ll Do

  • Contact property teams to collect housing authority/vendor payment information
  • Track and organize data in Excel by property and funding source
  • Compare property data to bank deposits to identify gaps or missing setups
  • Research housing authority contacts, ACH setup processes, and portals
  • Collect and organize ACH forms and documentation in SharePoint
  • Assist with a bank user access audit (reviewing access levels and identifying discrepancies)
  • Maintain accurate logs of outreach, responses, and outstanding items

What Weโ€™re Looking For

  • Strong attention to detail and organization
  • Comfortable making phone calls and following up professionally
  • Intermediate Excel skills (sorting, filtering, formulas; exposure to macros is a plus)
  • Ability to work with large datasets and identify discrepancies
  • Reliable, proactive, and able to manage repetitive tasks with accuracy
  • Experience with SharePoint or document management tools is a plus
