Position Overview

The Lead Commercial Leadership Development Training Manager supports our efforts in nurturing leadership talent and fostering a culture of growth within our commercial organization. This role maintains focus on aligning company-wide philosophies with the specific leadership needs of our commercial teams. By partnering with both internal and external stakeholders, this role cultivates a leadership culture that not only meets but exceeds customer expectations. Through these partnerships, the Lead Commercial Development Training Manager plays a crucial role in designing, implementing, and overseeing leadership development programs that empower our employees to excel in first- and second-line leadership roles as well as to prepare potential future leaders.

This is a Madison, WI based position. Relocation assistance may be provided if needed.

Essential Duties

Include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Deliver elements of the comprehensive leadership development strategy, including training programs, workshops, and mentoring initiatives.
  • Design, create, and enhance engaging training materials, content, and resources that align with leadership competencies and organizational goals.
  • Lead impactful training sessions and workshops focused on leadership skills, emotional intelligence, communication, and other relevant topics.
  • Offer personalized coaching and mentoring to emerging leaders, helping them enhance their skills and navigate their career paths.
  • Work closely and cross-functionally with other internal stakeholders to ensure alignment of training with company-wide objectives.
  • Monitor the growth and progress of leadership trainees, providing guidance and recommendations for their ongoing development.
  • Utilize data and metrics to measure the impact of leadership development initiatives and make data-backed decisions.
  • Uphold company mission and values through accountability, innovation, integrity, quality, and teamwork.
  • Support and comply with the company's Quality Management System policies and procedures.
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
  • Ability to act with an inclusion mindset and model these behaviors for the organization.
  • Ability to work on a mobile device, tablet, or in front of a computer screen and/or perform typing for approximately 60% of a typical working day.
  • Ability to travel 35% of working time away from work location, may include overnight/weekend travel.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in a field related to essential duties; or Associates Degree and 2 years of relevant experience; or High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 4 years of relevant experience.
  • 8 years of relevant job-related experience.
  • 2 years of commercial experience (sales, operations, marketing, analytics, market research, etc.) in the biopharma, medical device, or diagnostic space
  • Demonstrated ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5 years of front-line selling experience
  • Professional certifications in leadership development or training.

Salary Range:

$112,000.00 - $190,000.00

The annual base salary shown is for this position located in US - WI - Madison on a full-time basis. In addition, this position is bonus eligible.
