The Role

We're scaling our sales organization and looking for a Business Development Associate who sells the way we serve our clients: consultatively. This is not a spray-and-pray, dial-for-dollars job. It's a role for someone who leads with curiosity, takes the time to understand a prospect's business, and earns trust before asking for the meeting.

You'll start at the top of the funnel — researching accounts, crafting thoughtful outreach, and booking discovery meetings alongside our Head of Business Development. As you sharpen your skills and build a track record, you'll earn the opportunity to carry your own quota, run deals end-to-end, and grow into a full-cycle seller. Your commission is uncapped, so as you take on more, your earnings grow right along with you.

What You'll Do
  • Identify prospective customers and run targeted, creative outreach (email, social, phone, physical mail, and more) to book discovery meetings with qualified leads.
  • Develop a deep understanding of Beacon's mission, vision, service offering, value proposition, and ideal customer profile — and use it to tailor every conversation.
  • Maintain relationships with qualified prospects through consistent, value-add touchpoints over email and LinkedIn.
  • Use our CRM to track, record, and maintain the accuracy of our sales pipeline.
  • Participate in discovery meetings with our Head of Business Development, capturing notes and next steps in our CRM.
  • Partner with our Head of Business Development to hit our quarterly revenue targets.
  • Test and provide feedback on positioning and messaging to continuously improve our go-to-market.
  • Grow into ownership. As you ramp, take on your own pipeline and quota and run deals from first touch to close.

Compensation

This is a commission-driven role with meaningful, uncapped upside.

  • $110,000–$120,000 OTE, split 50/50 between base salary and variable commission
  • Uncapped commission — your earning potential scales directly with the accounts you bring on, and strong performers can earn beyond OTE
