Wir suchen eine:n erfahrene:n Lead DevOps Engineer – Gaming / VR (w/d/m), der/die unsere DevOps-Strategie maßgeblich mitgestaltet und die technologische Grundlage für die Entwicklung unserer immersiven VR-Trainingslösungen weiterentwickelt.

In dieser Rolle übernimmst du die fachliche Führung unseres DevOps-Bereichs, entwickelst skalierbare Build- und Deployment-Infrastrukturen und treibst die kontinuierliche Optimierung unserer Entwicklungsprozesse voran. Dabei arbeitest du eng mit Entwicklung, IT und weiteren Fachbereichen zusammen und stellst sicher, dass unsere CI/CD-Landschaft höchsten Anforderungen an Performance, Stabilität und Sicherheit gerecht wird.

Deine Aufgaben
  • Definieren, Weiterentwickeln und Verantworten der DevOps-Strategie sowie unserer CI/CD-Landschaft für Unreal Engine 5 Projekte
  • Konzipieren, Implementieren und Optimieren skalierbarer Build-, Test- und Deployment-Pipelines mit Jenkins, TeamCity, Unreal Horde oder vergleichbaren Technologien
  • Evaluieren neuer Technologien, Tools und Infrastrukturkonzepte sowie Ableiten strategischer Empfehlungen für die Weiterentwicklung unserer Entwicklungsplattform
  • Fachliches Führen und Mentoren des DevOps-Bereichs sowie Fördern des Wissensaustauschs innerhalb der Entwicklungsteams
  • Etablieren von Best Practices für Automatisierung, Infrastructure as Code, Build-Systeme und DevSecOps
  • Zusammenarbeiten mit Programmiererinnen, Programmierern, IT und Artists zur Automatisierung und kontinuierlichen Verbesserung von Entwicklungs- und Build-Prozessen
  • Integrieren und Weiterentwickeln interner Tools sowie Optimieren bestehender Entwicklungs-Workflows
  • Sicherstellen einer stabilen, sicheren und performanten Build- und Entwicklungsinfrastruktur über Windows- und Linux-Systeme hinweg
  • Dokumentieren technischer Architekturen, Prozesse und Standards sowie Vorantreiben der kontinuierlichen Verbesserung unserer DevOps-Landschaft
Schlüsselqualifikationen
  • Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung als Senior oder Lead DevOps Engineer, idealerweise in der Games-, XR- oder VR-Branche
  • Erfahrung in der fachlichen Führung, Entwicklung oder Koordination kleiner DevOps- oder Infrastrukturteams
  • Nachweisbare Erfahrung im Aufbau und der Weiterentwicklung moderner CI/CD-Plattformen sowie skalierbarer Entwicklungsinfrastrukturen
  • Fundiertes Verständnis von Build-Systemen, Automatisierung, Infrastructure as Code und modernen DevOps-Architekturen
  • Sehr gute Kenntnisse in PowerShell sowie idealerweise Python oder C# und Erfahrung mit Windows- und Linux-basierten Entwicklungsumgebungen
