As Lead RPA Developer, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality, scalable automation solutions using UiPath and Microsoft Power Automate. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing robust automation workflows to streamline business processes across enterprise systems.
Your expertise in RPA development, automation best practices, and intelligent automation (including Agentic Automation and Document Understanding) will contribute to building reliable, efficient, and secure digital processes. You will also ensure automation quality through structured testing, monitoring, and continuous improvement, enabling the organization to deliver optimized and high-performance solutions to business stakeholders.
This role will be based onsite in New Haven, CT on a full-time basis.
What you will be doing
  • Lead end-to-end RPA delivery on UiPath: discovery, design, development, deployment, and hyper care.
  • Build reusable frameworks, libraries, and components to accelerate development.
  • Conduct workshops, create PDD/SDD, and translate business needs into scalable solutions.
  • Develop Power Automate (cloud flows) for M365 integrations.
  • Manage Orchestrator: robots, queues, schedules, credentials, licensing, and monitoring.
  • Monitor bot performance and optimise for stability and throughput.
  • Lead and mentor developers through code reviews, coaching, and best practices.
  • Define coding standards, exception handling, logging, and documentation.
  • Drive upskilling and align team with latest UiPath capabilities.
  • Support sprint planning, workload, and capacity management.
  • Engage stakeholders to prioritise pipeline and communicate delivery status.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in the English language verbally and in writing.

What we are looking for
To perform this job successfully, an individual must meet the expectations of each essential duty. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and abilities required.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science/engineering
  • 8-10 years of overall professional experience in software development, automation, or IT delivery roles.
  • Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience specifically on the UiPath platform, including Orchestrator administration.
  • At least 2 years in a team lead, tech lead including code review responsibility and junior developer mentoring.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering automation projects in enterprise environments, preferably in finance, insurance, healthcare, logistics, or shared services sectors.

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE AND/OR ABILITIES:
Candidates must demonstrate deep, hands-on expertise across the full UiPath ecosystem.
  • UiPath Studio - advanced workflow design, UI automation, API integration, and custom activity development.
  • Strong knowledge of VB.NET / C# concepts
  • UiPath Orchestrator - enterprise administration, Unattended and Attended robot management, queue configuration, triggers, alerts, and audit management.
  • RE Framework - expert-level implementation and customization for complex transactional processes.
  • Strong expertise in UiPath advanced capabilities, including Agentic Automation (UiPath Maestro) and designing complex AI-driven, agent-based automation solutions.
  • Hands-on experience in UiPath Document Understanding, including OCR, classification, extraction, and intelligent processing of structured and unstructured documents
  • Solid exposure to AI/ML integrations in RPA, Using Gen- AI Activities enabling AI-powered automation, intelligent exception handling, and decision-making workflows.
  • Strong experience in automating SAP, legacy, and mainframe applications, including SAP GUI transactions and terminal-based systems, using UI automation, selectors, and screen-based automation techniques for enterprise workflows.
  • UiPath Action Center - human-in-the-loop process design for exceptions and approvals requiring human intervention.
  • UiPath Automation Hub and Process Mining, UiPath Apps[Good to have]
  • Good to have working experience building and supporting flows in the Microsoft Power Automate.
  • Cloud Flows - event-driven and scheduled automation using standard and premium connectors.
  • Integration with Microsoft 365 services - SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, OneDrive, Dataverse, and Dynamics 365.
  • Power Automate expressions, error handling, and flow governance within managed environments.
