Job description

Cyber Security Innovations, LLC (CSI) is seeking a Power Apps Developer to serve as Key Personnel in support of a federal customer's Technical Support Services task order. This position is responsible for the full lifecycle support, optimization, and user enablement of the customer's procurement workflow automation solution, built on the Microsoft Power Platform and SharePoint Online (SPO). The Power Apps Developer will design, build, deploy, and maintain low-code/no-code business applications - with a primary focus on Power Apps - that automate the customer's procurement workflows, ensuring efficient, policy-compliant processing and timely delivery of enhancements in alignment with contract performance standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, deploy, and maintain model-driven and canvas Power Apps supporting the customer's procurement workflow automation tool and other Power Platform applications, integrating with data sources such as Microsoft Dataverse and SharePoint Online.
  • Maintain document automation, collaboration, review, and approval workflows built primarily in Power Apps and Power Automate, ensuring policy-based routing of procurement data and documents.
  • Evaluate and implement document management and workflow integrations with the customer's contract writing system(s).
  • Respond to and claim help desk tickets during core business hours, meeting or exceeding contract-required average ticket claim and resolution times for both regular and urgent tickets.
  • Provide monthly and ad hoc training to end users on application functionality and updates.
  • Identify and implement process and system efficiencies; escalate severe application issues (e.g., system unavailability) to the Government Task Lead promptly with a recommended resolution.
  • Acknowledge and assign the large majority of system enhancement requests within a few hours of receipt, and complete requests by agreed-upon dates with the Technical Lead; implement enhancement/policy requests within contractually specified timeframes.
  • Implement role-based security within Power Apps and Dataverse consistent with the customer's governance, records retention, and Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) requirements.
  • Document all application changes as they are tested, adopted, and implemented, and provide documentation to the Government Technical Lead monthly or as requested.
  • Conduct and support capability demonstrations; lead and coordinate requirements discussions, requirements development, testing, and system implementation with customer stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with IT to obtain required permissions and deploy workflows into Production, ensuring alignment with agency governance and compliance standards.
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of five (5) years of hands-on Power Apps experience (canvas and model-driven apps), consistent with Key Personnel requirements.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of Power Automate workflow development experience.
  • Demonstrated experience integrating Power Apps with Microsoft Dataverse and SharePoint Online.
  • Experience implementing role-based security and data governance controls within the Power Platform.
  • Experience supporting business process automation for a federal agency or large enterprise, including requirements gathering, testing, and user training.
  • Strong interpersonal and soft skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with Government stakeholders and end users.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen, eligible for a federal background investigation, and able to maintain required suitability determinations for the life of the contract.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience supporting a federal contract involving SharePoint Online and M365 application support.
  • Familiarity with federal procurement or contract writing systems.
  • Microsoft Power Platform certification (PL-100 or PL-400).
  • Experience supporting acquisition, procurement, or contract writing system workflows.
  • Experience with federal agency records management, CUI handling, and sensitive data protection requirements.
Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred; equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant Power Platform development experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
