Job Overviewย 

The Asset Manager willย leadย the technical and economic performance of operated and non-operated assets within the Eagle Ford basin. This roleย is responsible forย maximizing asset value through integrated reservoir management, development planning, and cross-functional leadership. The ideal candidate has a strong reservoir engineering background, deep knowledge of unconventional shale development, and proven experience inย the Eagleย Ford.ย 

Key Responsibilitiesย 

Asset Leadership & Strategyย 

  • Own full-cycle asset management responsibilities, including planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance optimization.ย 

  • Develop and execute short- and long-term asset development strategies to maximize NPV and reserve recovery.ย 

  • Drive business decisions by integrating subsurface, drilling, completion, and production data.ย 

  • Lead small cross disciplinary team in developing the assetsย 

Reservoir Engineering & Technical Oversightย 

  • Lead reservoir evaluation, decline curve analysis, reserves estimation, and type curve developmentย forย asset.ย 

  • Oversee reservoir simulation and modeling to support field development planning.ย 

  • Optimizeย well spacing, landing zones, and completion designs specific to Eagleย Fordย geologic variability.ย 

  • Champion and underwrite technologies that enhance technical understanding of the asset and drive asset value creation.ย 

Operations & Performance Optimizationย 

  • Monitor production performance andย identifyย opportunities for improvement, includingย refracs, workovers, and artificial lift optimization.ย 

  • Collaborate with drilling andย completionsย teams toย enhance wellย productivity and capital efficiency.ย 

  • Analyze production trends and apply data-driven insights to improve asset performance.ย 

Financial Managementย 

  • Own asset-level budget development (CAPEX/OPEX) and track financial performance against plan.ย 

  • Conduct economic evaluations of development scenarios, acquisitions, and divestitures.ย 

  • Deliverย accurateย forecasts andย reservesย updates in line with corporate and regulatory standards.ย 

Cross-Functional Leadershipย 

  • Lead and coordinate cross-functionally with multidisciplinary teams, including geoscience, drilling, completions, production operations, and commercial teams.ย 

  • Serve asย primaryย point of contact for senior leadership on asset performance and strategy.ย 

  • Mentor and develop junior engineers and technical staff.ย 

Stakeholder & Regulatory Interfaceย 

  • Interface with partners, investors, and regulatory bodies as needed.ย

Qualificationsย 

Educationย 

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree inย Mechanical, Chemical, orย Petroleum Engineeringย or similarย (required)ย 

Experienceย 

  • Minimumย 10ย yearsย of oil & gas experience, with a strong emphasis on reservoir engineeringย 

  • Direct experience in theย Eagle Ford shaleย (required)ย 

  • Prior asset management or team leadership experienceย ย
