Overview

Position Summary
The Procurement Analyst is accountable for reporting needs across all indirect categories (fixtures, R&M, construction, IT, marketing, supplies, travel, etc.). This position plays a key role in analytics and administration of procurement and travel systems (Coupa & Concur). The Procurement Analyst will partner with end users such as store associates, SSC associates, and suppliers in ensuring the purchasing process is effortless and efficient. This includes assisting in requisition creation & purchase orders. Additionally, the position monitors supplier performance, which includes initiating and managing ongoing projects to reduce overall procurement costs and improve supplier flexibility, delivery, and performance. The position will also partner with accounts payable in ensuring the front-end controls are in place for business needs to settle accounts due. The position will work with the indirect tax team in ensuring proper record keeping; supplier settlement, and taxation procedures are adhered to within the procurement phase of business.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for training and assisting end users with the creation of requisitions in Coupa.
  • Take ownership of day-to-day procurement operations, addressing and resolving issues independently. Partner with relevant teams to escalate and resolve more complex challenges when necessary.
  • Responsible for day-to-day Coupa system administration.
  • Responsible for inventory management and replenishment of store supplies.
  • Assist in the financial analysis of RFPs, prepare weekly/monthly reports, and conduct forecast exercises for Procurement objectives.
  • Assist in creating data-driven presentations to support procurement initiatives.
  • Offer insights and suggestions for process improvements on both the vendor and PGATSS sides to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Engage in analysis of testing and implementations of order process improvements with clear metrics of success, updating process documentation accordingly.
  • Partners with Accounts Payable to ensure supplier settlements occur as needed.
  • Ability to manage personal time and priorities, contribute to broader projects, and understand the interconnected impacts on the business.
  • Responsible for testing, implementing, and supporting technology/business solutions to maintain efficiency and ensure business continuity.
  • Responsible for onboarding and training new Associates on best practices, system updates, and any changes related to procurement processes.
  • Must be flexible, willing to undertake a wide variety of challenging tasks, and special projects as needed.

Qualifications and Skills Required:
  • Communication: Candidates must have strong listening and interpersonal skills. They must possess good verbal and written communication skills and be able to communicate cross-functionally. Candidates communicate expectations and standards to execute company programs.
  • Computer: Candidates must possess advanced computer skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook and Excel.
  • Accountability: Candidates must possess the skills to lead without authority.
  • Business Acumen: Ability to quickly learn business acumen with appropriate training.
  • Organization: Candidates must be able to organize multiple priorities to ensure execution.
  • Education/Experience: The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent work experience.
  • Customer Service: Candidate must have a customer first mindset to be successful in this role.
  • Supply Chain/Procurement data analytics and process improvement experience preferred.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
  • Monday - Friday onsite, based out of our Roswell, GA Store Support Center. Flexibility to work extended and varied hours as needed.
  • Must be able to stand and/or sit for extended periods of time as the job is completed primarily at a desk each day. Variable desk heights are offered so alternatively sitting and/or standing at the desk is optional.
