Job description

ProMachโ€™s Financial Shared Services Organization (FSS) is seeking a talented Finance Systems Analyst. This position reports to the Finance Project Manager and will be located in Cincinnati, OH. The Financial Shared Service Organization is a USA based, onshore operation.

Financial Systems Analyst (Hybrid available)

This is a new position within Financial Share Services (FSS) and will be responsible for the day-to-day administration, maintenance, and optimization of financial software platforms including but not limited to close management tools, accounting & finance tools, reporting/analytics tools, service/ticketing tools, and SharePoint. This position ensures seamless system performance, data integrity control and compliance, and user support, while collaborating closely with Finance teams on training, maintenance, configurations, and process improvements. The ideal candidate is a meticulous problem-solver with technical aptitude and an understanding of financial workflows.

This role will foster a culture focused on continuous improvement and will demonstrate business value and return on investment via optimization of financial software platforms. This position will partner with Finance, IT, ProMach Business Process team, third party vendors, and key business stakeholders.

  • Serve as the primary administrator and coordinator for Finance systems and tools (e.g., close management tools, accounting & finance tools, reporting/analytics tools, service/ticketing tools, and SharePoint), ensuring they support core Finance workflows.
  • Coordinate user access, roles, documentation, SOPs, and maintenance of Finance knowledge repositories to enable consistent execution of budgeting, forecasting, close, and reporting processes.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for end-users, resolving issues related to system functionality, integrations, and data discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Partner with Finance teams to support system enhancements, feature adoption, reporting needs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and deliver training, guidance, and documentation tailored to Finance users with varying levels of system familiarity.
  • Monitor system usage, data quality, and control requirements to support compliance and strong internal controls.
  • Coordinate with IT and vendors on infrastructure, security, integrations, upgrades, and system changes while retaining Finance ownership of tools.
  • Support system upgrades, migrations, testing, and rollout of new functionality.

  • Strong organizational, communication, and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Certifications related to finance systems, business applications or process improvement are preferred. (e.g., Microsoft Certified)
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience supporting and coordinating Finance systems and tools, with a proven ability to balance dayโ€‘toโ€‘day administration (e.g., access management, usage monitoring) and projectโ€‘based work such as system enhancements, feature adoption, and crossโ€‘functional initiatives.
  • Administration experience with Finance SaaS tools such as close management tools, accounting & finance tools, and service/ticketing tools, as well as SharePoint, or similar platforms
  • Knowledge of financial processes, data management, and compliance standards.
  • Proficiency in system configurations, troubleshooting, and user support.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to handle sensitive financial data.
  • Excellent communication skills for training and collaborating with non-technical users.
  • Strong relationship building skills, must build trust.
  • Willing to travel up to 15%.
