What You'll Do
As an Electrical Supervisor, you'll lead and coordinate electrical installation, maintenance, and repair activities across manufacturing and project environments. You'll provide both technical leadership and hands-on support while ensuring electrical systems are installed and maintained safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company and regulatory standards.
In this role, you will:
  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of electricians and electrical technicians
  • Plan, assign, and prioritize electrical work to support production and project schedules
  • Install, maintain, test, and repair electrical systems, equipment, wiring, and controls
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, single-line diagrams, and technical drawings
  • Oversee installation of conduit, switchgear, MCCs, transformers, panels, and electrical components
  • Ensure proper wiring terminations for power, control, and instrumentation systems
  • Troubleshoot motors, drives (VFDs), PLC interfaces, and control systems
  • Perform and oversee preventive maintenance activities and system inspections
  • Ensure compliance with NEC requirements, local codes, and company standards
  • Enforce lockout/tagout procedures, arc flash requirements, and electrical safety protocols
  • Coordinate closely with project managers, engineers, production teams, and maintenance groups
  • Monitor material usage and support procurement activities
  • Review completed work for quality, accuracy, and compliance
  • Support continuous improvement efforts focused on reliability, efficiency, and safety
  • Mentor and develop electricians and technicians through coaching and training initiatives

Requirements
What We're Looking For
We're seeking a strong technical leader with industrial electrical experience and a proven ability to develop teams while driving safe and efficient operations.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Valid electrician license (Journeyman or equivalent) where applicable
  • Minimum seven (7) years of electrical installation, maintenance, or industrial electrical experience
  • Minimum two (2) years of supervisory or leadership experience
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems including power distribution, controls, and automation
  • Knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) requirements and applicable safety standards
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities
Preferred Qualifications
  • Technical degree or certification in Electrical Technology or related field
  • Experience in industrial manufacturing, construction, or EPC environments
  • Experience with PLCs, motor controls, automation systems, and VFDs
  • Experience supporting large-scale or multi-site operations

Your Work Schedule
This is a full-time, exempt position. Work hours will align with operational and project requirements and may require schedule flexibility to support manufacturing and installation activities.
